Mendel Winery embodies the union of Roberto de la Mota - one of Argentina's most respected and experienced winemakers - with an established Argentine family. Together they are dedicated to producing wines of unquestionably superior quality.

Mendel Semillon: Situated at over 3,000 ft in Altamira, Uco Valley stands a small 60 year old Semillon vineyard. The grapes produced in this vineyard are exceptionally flavorful due to its old vines and cool microclimate. Fermentation takes place in tank and new American oak barrels to add more complexity to the wine. Every artisan winemaking step is rigorously performed, from carefully bunch sorting to fermentation in small tanks to aging in the finest oak for 8 months. Ancient vineyards, passionate people, experience and friendship are blended to create this remarkable Semillon.

Mendel Malbec: is the maximum expression of the variety in the Mendel winery. This variety is perfectly adapted to our climate and soil, displaying its typical aromas of mature fruit, plums, raisins and violets, with a full-bodied, fat, and meaty as the most outstanding flavor characteristics.
