Southwest – Cahors, France. Château Famaey is the result of a project by Belgian childhood friends Luc and Marc, started in 2001 in the Lot Valley. Today, the estate covers 40 ha of vineyards on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd terraces of the valley, where Malbec flourishes. The winery works with respect for nature and tradition, with controlled yields and manual harvesting on the best plots.
Description
A modern Cahors, emphasizing fruit and freshness. The wine shows a ruby red color, with spicy aromas of licorice and notes of red and black fruits. Pleasant on the palate, with good structure, fine tannins, and a juicy finish. A pure expression of the Malbec grape.

Origin / Estate
Côtes du Rhône, France – produced by Belgian winemaker Erwin Devriendt. The vineyard is located between Cairanne and Vacqueyras, in the heart of the Plan de Dieu appellation. The old Grenache vineyard was leased in 2003 and restored organically. Today, the vineyard is fully organic and biodynamic.
Description
The bouquet of cherries and strawberries, enhanced with spicy garrigue herbs, makes this wine rich and lush. Its juicy drinkability allows it to be served slightly chilled. Thanks to the balance between roundness, acidity, and tannins, it has excellent aging potential. Perfect with summer salads, grilled dishes, and charcuterie.
