On the right bank of the Tanaro River, not far from the city of Alba, lies the picturesque village of Neive. It was there that Evaristo Filippino founded his wine estate in the early 1900s. Today, Elio Filippino, third generation, leads the estate. He upholds traditional values with the utmost respect for both the environment and the surroundings.
Description
A textbook example of a high-quality Barolo. Fresh, powerful, and elegant. Distinct aromas of roses, a subtle hint of truffle, tobacco, and cinnamon. The palate mirrors the nose with freshness, elegance, and power. The finish is long, fresh, and refined.
