The vineyards are located in Montalcino, Italy more precisely in Villa Santa Restituta . They have a S-SW orientation and are located up to 480 m above sea level. The terroir consists of silicates, limestone, minerals and small rocks. The age of the
vineyards ranges from 6 to 30 years.
Manual Guyot harvest method. Natural fermentation at controlled temperature (max 24/26°C). Maceration in stainless steel vats with constant blending. Aging : 36 months in French oak barrels after which the wine, for a minimum of two months, further refines in bottle.
Ruby red color which becomes more amber after a few years. On the nose intense yet elegant aromas mainly of violets and musk. Powerful on the palate with pleasant, lush tannins. Lively and harmonious. Impressive aftertaste.
