Merryvale Profile Napa Valley 2013, 75 cl
Profile is a blend of the finest lots of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, chosen for their concentration, depth of flavor and fine tannin structure, aged in mostly new French oak chateau ferre barrels and bottled unfined and unfiltered. The 2011 Profile shows opulent aromas of blackberry, cassis, sweet mixed berries, perfume and black tea along with vanilla, baking spices and toasty oak. The texture is broad and mouth-filling with mature tannins and exceptional length. This wine is capable of aging two decades and beyond, but is approachable in its youth. We recommend decanting.
