Maison Lanson is one of the oldest Champagne Houses, having been founded in 1760. Renowned for its elegance, it is a Royal Warrant Holder and the official Champagne of the iconic Wimbledon tournament. The Maltese Cross in the Lanson emblem dates back to 1798; the founder's son was a member of the Hospitaller’s Order of Malta, the oldest worldwide charity. The Lanson Cross today represents the House's ongoing commitment to openness, kindness, and hospitality.

Origin / Estate

The grapes for this vintage champagne come from 100% Grands Crus: 70% Chardonnay from Avize, Cramant, Oger, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Chouilly (Côte des Blancs), and 30% Pinot Noir from Verzenay and Bouzy (Montagne de Reims). The wine undergoes full stainless steel fermentation (100%) and ages for no less than 18 years in bottle.

Description

Crystal-clear golden colour with green reflections. Refined nose with aromas of lemon, mirabelle plum, pear and bergamot, complemented by hints of frangipane and honey biscuits. On the palate, a soft and structured profile with flavours of biscuit, hazelnut, apricot and candied orange. Very elegant and long finish.
